The Cable is the Only Real Argument Against It
Nearly every wired DAV3 owner acknowledges the stiff cable as the one tangible downside — many pair it with a bungee or swap to a paracord aftermarket cable. Once that's solved, complaints dry up fast.

The Razer DeathAdder V3 is one of the most well-regarded ergonomic gaming mice on the market, with a devoted following among medium-to-large-handed players who favor palm or relaxed claw grip. Reddit consensus across hundreds of comments is overwhelmingly positive on shape and build quality, with the wired version frequently praised as the best value in the lineup. The mouse family spans three distinct variants — wired, Pro (wireless), and HyperSpeed — each with slightly different trade-offs in size, sensor, and battery. Recurring criticisms center on Razer Synapse software, occasional scroll wheel degradation over time, and sporadic USB disconnection issues on the wired version. Despite these QC concerns, a large portion of the community considers it their endgame mouse.

Reddit users repeatedly ask why the Pro exists now that the HyperSpeed dropped replaceable batteries, added USB-C charging, and undercuts the Pro on price. The answer: larger shape and a flagship sensor — but for most users, the HyperSpeed wins on value.
Users with hands under 18cm consistently report discomfort or outright inability to use the full-size wired or Pro variant. The community is clear: the DAV3 is built for medium-large to large hands, and sizing down to the HyperSpeed isn't always enough.
The clicks are lighter and spammable on the wired. The coating is better (very comparable to Zowie mice but no finger prints). It's lighter and has 8khz which I appreciate. The only things that make it worse is the wire and the fact it doesn't come in white.
View Original CommentI really appreciate the risks Razer takes when it comes to creating new products and listening to the community. The v3 was too long for me, so this one is a safe buy.
View Original CommentDamn it dude, I was mouse-buying-free for like 6 months. Just relapsed.
View Original CommentI received my Dav3 today and been playing with it for several hours. I had my Dav3 Pro side by side to compare them. M1 and M2 buttons are lighter and quieter on V3. The V3 Pro actually sounds a little bit hollow in comparison.
View Original CommentWhoa, Dynamic Sensitivity is just RawAccel/Custom Curve built into Synapse. I was not expecting that! This is kind of a big deal. Accel curves going mainstream! I wonder if other big mfgrs will embrace this.
View Original CommentJust got the mouse from Best Buy and my first impressions are great. I've rocked the DAV3 pro and faker since release and this is infinitely more sturdy and solidly built. It's hard as a rock and the pros always had so much flex or soft spots on the sides. Weight reduction is noticeable but nothing too crazy, it's the shape change that's huge.
View Original CommentIf you want an alternative wireless mouse with a similar ergo shape as the DAV3 without paying a premium for the DAV3 wireless version, suggest trying the Delux M900 Pro, which is a high quality budget DAV3 clone. It even comes with a charging dock included.
View Original CommentI think it's legit the best mouse they've ever made, not just DeathAdder. It's crazy value, too.
View Original CommentWhat a banger drop. Any info on a white version with the VV3 coating?
View Original Commentwait so what's the point of the Pro version now if this version isn't gimped by replaceable batteries anymore?
View Original CommentI have the regular daV3. It's a really good mouse and it's very lightweight. 8KHz polling is somewhat of a gimmick, but the mouse itself is quite nice. However, i did buy mine for $27 on amazon, so not sure wireless is worth $60 more...
View Original CommentI love the mouse too, I have big hands and I like it more than the regular Dav3 which is bigger, coating feels better than it does on other soft touch Razer mice for some reason though.
View Original CommentI ended up sticking with the Deathadder v3 pro wireless after trying out a ton and returning the ones I didn't like. Amazon's return policy makes it really easy to test a mouse for a few weeks to see if you'll like it.
View Original CommentWhoa. Mouse Rotation sounds awesome! Thanks for making a smaller DeathAdder! If HyperSpeed pivots into a "mini" lineup it would be amazing.
View Original CommentOne of the best mice I've used for large hand palm grip. I enjoy using it a bit more than my xlite v3. Hand is around 21-22 cm.
View Original CommentHaven't bought a mouse in a decade. Landed here. Bought this mouse 2 minutes later. Thanks for saving me from rabbitholing.
View Original CommentI agree with the shape but I tried 2 copies and both had switch grind. Not acceptable being reminded of that while in game every so often. Too bad.
View Original CommentPSA this mouse has absolutely terrible QA. The inside of the mouse is also completely exposed, so don't store it any place where there's any sort of dust. After 16 months of usage one mouse button had to be replaced and I had to replace the side button. I'm no fan of Logitech, but if nothing else their stuff doesn't break as consistently as Razer does.
View Original CommentShape just isn't it. I switched back to my deathadder v2 pro.
View Original CommentA smaller deathadder is exactly what I was wanting. And a rechargeable battery! Only 100 bucks, still expensive but pretty cheap given it's competition with other big name companies. Bought one on Amazon.
View Original CommentBought the hyperspeed v2, had to claim warranty twice in 2 years. No more Razer, thanks.
View Original CommentRazer did a smart thing here with this shape, it will easily become the best ec2 style ergo on the market. I can't really make an argument for any of the other popular ones.
View Original CommentYou go for the V3 wired or the V3 Pro version if you have larger hands, the V3 Hyperspeed is for small to medium hands.
View Original CommentTop tier mouse with good latency and response time, great shape, weight, and something that is actually recommended by mouse enthusiasts. For $75 it's a good price.
View Original CommentGreat mouse, really good battery life, and have managed to go a year without having a double-click issue which is more than I can say for my last few Razer/Corsair/Logitech mice.
View Original CommentI don't think this particular model gets the double-click issue since the switches for the mouse buttons are optical. Definitely a big draw for this mouse, especially at this price.
View Original CommentOk mouse, great battery life, but I find myself accidentally pressing the lower left side button with my thumb a lot.
View Original CommentI had it for 1 week then I sold it because it's too big for my hand size and I prefer small mice. The mouse is solid, no creaking or flexing, coating is nice, switches feel good.
View Original CommentOne thing to mention — these have optical microswitches. Less chance of having that double click issue other mice have at this price point.
View Original CommentI have the regular wired daV3 version of this mouse and really like it, but I had to RMA my original model after about 9 months due to a really annoying scroll wheel jumping issue that is well documented.
View Original CommentStill use it to this day, and I got to say that I'm still enjoying it, probably more than ever. Suffice to say that it's probably going to be my endgame mouse.
View Original CommentI want to like this so bad — amazing build quality and a nice small dongle — but it gives me hand pain.
View Original CommentThe price and specs it has is too good to pass if you are looking for a smaller dav3 pro that is cheaper than the flagship $160 mice.
View Original CommentShape is the definition of perfection for me. Coming from da v3 pro and I got big hands.
View Original CommentIt's one of my top five mice, and I would rate it as better than the pro. I have seen them as low as $45.
View Original CommentI own dozens of mice. I've tried to go back to previous mice just for fun and they feel horrible compared to the comfort and performance of my DAV3. I use it at 2000hz so I don't see any stuttering in games and it feels incredibly smooth.
View Original CommentI've had mine for 7 months already, not a problem. Easily one of the best mice I have used.
View Original CommentHad it for a month and sold it. Good: extremely accurate, premium build/coating, all clicks are high quality. Bad: stiff cable will affect your aim no matter how well you're used to wired mice.
View Original CommentLoved the shape of this mouse. Bought 2 before but both had issues. Really hesitant to buy more Razer products tbh.
View Original CommentI loved this mouse, but the rubber parts decayed on it in less than a year and Razer refused to honor the warranty.
View Original CommentGood purchase. Dav3 wired is still one of the best and affordable mice today. My dav3 is like a year old too and the only issue I experienced is with the cable — the wires inside get twisted and I need to push it back in. It doesn't happen that often though.
View Original CommentI had Deathadder v2 wired for years, one of the best mice I've ever used. I thought I'd upgrade and get the Deathadder v3 wired — worst decision. The ergonomics are similar but a common issue is constant connects/disconnects, tried on multiple PCs and with/without Razer software, changed power settings but constantly disconnecting randomly.
