The criticisms against the OnePlus 15 are there because the OnePlus 13 exists— and now it will be at an even cheaper price. If the OP15 was the successor to the OP11, it would be a terrific upgrade.

I have the OPO and the IR remote is awesome.

I'm gonna be honest here, and I'll likely be down downvoted to hell, but this phone may be exactly what I need. I don't really care for high-end cameras, neither for the sharpest screen. I need a phone that'll last as long as possible, readable under sunlight, fluid and with zero stutter and as tough as possible.

Overall fair, but I will say that a button doesn't perfectly match the slider in terms of functionality. I like to be able to reach into my pocket and confirm that my phone is silenced.

OnePlus used the word gaming how often and that's where they focus on, what's fine for me

Always surprised so many people hate on One UI, it is actually my favorite Android skin. I can't stand a lot of the new pastel colors in many other brand's takes on Android. At least with Samsung you have a nice standard default option. New Pixel UI is absolutely trash, most researched update my ass.

You can import the Oppo Find X9 Pro Global immediately if you don't feel like waiting. They're practically brothers but I'd argue the cameras and os are better on the Oppo

OxygenOS/ColorOS is so bad atm. They've copied apple and HALF implemented Liquid Glass styling, the other half of the OS is still Material You. It's a nightmare if you like consistency.

Good review, op. Oneplus is the pinnacle right now. Us losing power the past week makes me remember why my 13r is a powerbank, too, if you will. I can only imagine having another 1,300 mah.

Shop is scamming you. Activation requires full boot up and network connection.

This just makes me lean more towards buying this phone. I currently have an iPhone 17 Pro, but really want to move to Android. I have a toddler and I take a lot of pictures of him. I was worried about the cameras on this phone. I just like the photos I get on my iPhone but it's point and shoot, I don't know how to manually adjust any settings. I was afraid that the OnePlus 15's cameras would be noticeable worse.

Not sure who would buy this phone considering the camera is one of the most important specs and this doesn't have a good one. I've never seen youtubers roast a phone so bad. Normally they say cell phone cameras are good enough or that they are mostly the same these days.

The issue is that Oppo is refocusing OnePlus to be a gaming brand which may be a valid strategy in other markets like India, but that's not a huge selling point for a lot of people in the US. If you want to get a bonkers gaming phone in the US, there are other options already.

Hot take, there are normal people where these cameras are more than good enough, and many like me use a dedicated camera so rarely use the phone beyond sharing with family. I want the money spent elsewhere, so looking forward to this arriving. Much cheaper in UK than Pixel with a free tablet.

The display thing is so overblown. Anyone who thinks they can see the difference between 1440p and 1272p on a display this size is lying to themselves.

I have the OP15 and I truly miss One UI so idk what they are smoking.

I have a Chinese one with flashed Oxygen OS, not a single bug on it. People talk too much trash, if you like the phone just buy it.

In EU you can get for the same money a Find X9. So yes, we can argue about which one is better. But for me you have more value from Oppo.

I came from a OnePlus 12 and I honestly like the way the pictures come out better.

I had a problem with buying a device like this. I asked oneplus to send me an official email with details of my device stating that it's an old and used device. They sent an email that if I bought it new, it's a refurbished or used device.

The obsession with cameras on smartphones will be the downfall of them. How many photos are people taking that we need 75% of the phone to be a camera. Pixel 3 has perfectly good photos and only had 1 lens.

I cannot wait for this phone to come in. Coming from a pixel 9 pro that has terrible battery life.

As someone who doesnt give a damn about the camera, I love how this phone has made camera elitists lose their minds since its announcement.

The only bug i experience is the smart sidebar not working occasionally, so i disabled it. Otherwise works really well, battery is insane and i'm not used to have it last the whole day over 12 hours without charging.

Loving mine so far. Don't let the negative reviews get to you it's a great device.

My problem is that a new version of a phone should not be a downgrade over the old version, especially on critical aspects like processor, battery, camera. The sensor size decrease across all 3 cameras is objectively a downgrade. A downgrade on a critical aspect of the phone. That's my problem with it.

on the contrary, when i tried op15, the oos is just garbage, with this update they have killed the soul of oos as to what it was before. now its truly just color os.

People like to complain about OnePlus every year, most of the times it's about trivial things that don't matter.

Mine does not heat at all and my screen refresh rate is always high not in auto mode.

I'd prefer it with OneUI only because you miss some features that Samsung has. Dex, using Bixby for location-based reminders, and also just a smaller and lighter phone. But man, the OnePlus devices are so friggin snappy and the battery life is nuts.

Decent photos can be taken on any phone and on the Op15 it will definitely be usable. Honestly if people care about the camera so much then you can just buy a high spec camera. Daily use for OP15 camera will be fine. I am currently using the OP13 and cameras are still good even though it's considered a downgrade from OP12.

Don't forget the upgrade in battery to a whopping 7300mah.

Return it, save those 100, and buy it again from the official store hahaha

Mostly agree with the post. I have an OP15 as well. I very hard disagree with the cameras. It's a very noticeable downgrade from my Google Pixel 8 Pro.
